APPROVED!

VBSi Application as a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit
Has Been Approved!

Veterans First.

Red Tape Last.

Navigating the VA system can be overwhelming and expensive. VBSi is here to remove financial and bureaucratic obstacles, ensuring Veterans, Service Members, and their VA-accredited or non-accredited attorneys and claim agents have the resources and support needed to secure the benefits they have rightfully earned.

Who We Are

Veterans Benefits Support, Inc. (VBSi), a Delaware-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit,  has learned from veterans’ advocacy professionals who are in the business of providing advocacy services for veterans before the Veterans Administration for the members of the armed forces, veterans, and their families to obtain all of the benefits which they are entitled to, that often veterans are unable to afford and pay for the services required by the advocates in order to represent them.  Accordingly, the primary mission of VBSi is to seek and raise funds and charitable donations to be used by VBSi to pay for veterans’ advocacy services in cases where veterans cannot afford to pay for themselves, including to appeal the improper denial of veterans’ benefits.

VBSi would not be limited to such hardship cases, however those would be given priority.  Assuming VBSi receives sufficient funding from donations as a 501(C)3 charitable corporation, VBSi would also have the authority and the ability to pay for such advocacy services for any and all veterans, regardless of hardship.  VBSi would also support veterans and their families in other ways.

VBSi knows it is very challenging for veterans, especially those that were injured, to obtain all of the benefits to which they are entitled from the Veterans Administration.  The funds raised by VBSi would go to helping veterans to pay for their advocates’ VA approved and qualified expenses and to obtain all of the benefits to which they are entitled from the Veterans Administration and other qualified sources.

Additionally, and again assuming that VBSi raises sufficient funding, VBSi will be qualified and authorized to pay for other expenses that would benefit the health, comfort, and care of veterans, including without limitation providing housing, care, medical services, clothing, social activities, etc. for the benefit of veterans in need.

VBSi will also seek to provide training and education services for active duty service members, veterans, advocates and attorneys concerning rights and benefits for all service members and their families and fund appeals before the VA and litigation in federal courts and advocate for veterans benefits to protect, expand, and enhance benefits for active duty service members, veterans, and their families; to train civilian attorneys to practice military and veterans law; and, to educate veterans and their families on their rights and benefits.

Organizational Activities

VBSi has not yet conducted any fundraising activities. It has only been involved in organizational set up and planning for the initial officers and directors, set up of new Delaware non-stock charitable 501(c)(3) Corporation, with no members or shareholders, to be managed by the Board of Directors, and the planning, processing, completion, and filing of this 501(c)3 IRS Form 1023 application and organization meetings to appoint the initial Board of Directors and Officers.

There have been information meetings among the Directors and Officers to plan additional matters such as future additional Board Members, including targeting highly qualified members of the Armed Forces and Veterans, and other high-profile and highly experienced Board Members who are well-connected, available, interested, and passionate about the cause of the VBSi.

The Company was incorporated in the state of Delaware on November 6, 2024, as a Delaware non-stock company for 501(c)3 purposes. Assuming this 1023 Application is filed on about February1, 2025, VBSi would seek IRS 501(c)3 approval by approximately April 1, 2025, and then plan to immediately and informally through well-connect Board Member sources to begin seeking substantial contributions for the cause and to pay expenses. The CEO and the assistants to the CEO are donating their original time and work to set up the VBSi. The Attorney assisting the VBSi will provide some of its service pro bono, discount any billed services, and not expect payment until the VBSi can afford to do so with regard to all completed corporate, organizational, 501(c)3, and IRS 1023 Application projects.

Present & Future Activities

VBSi has prepared and maintains this website (VBSVets.org as a principal means for public education. The site features and will be further developed to include the following: education, practical tips on communicating, practical information, links to other education and charitable organizations benefits for members of the armed forces, veterans, and their families.  After receiving charitable designation status from the IRS, VBSi is planning to organize future fundraising activities.

All of VBSi’s activities are currently conducted out of its office located in Wilmington, Delaware.

VBSi is dedicated to empowering veterans, active-duty service members, and their families by providing VA-compliant educational resources and support. Our mission centers on offering general education about the VA benefits process, veterans’ rights, and related topics, and ensuring that veterans understand the procedures and systems available to support them. By funding accredited and non-accredited individuals and firms that deliver broad educational services, VBSi helps veterans navigate the VA system properly and effectively

We focus on providing funding for educational services. VBSi prioritizes funding for accredited representatives to assist veterans, particularly in appeals of denied claims. Payments for these services comply with VA guidelines.

Our mission also includes assisting veterans in broader areas of need, such as funding essential living expenses—housing, healthcare, and social support—to enhance veterans’ quality of life, dignity, and well-being. VBSi supports these efforts through fundraising and partnerships and prioritizes veterans experiencing financial hardship.

In addition to educational and financial support, VBSi actively works to protect and expand veterans’ benefits through community outreach. We aim to educate civilian attorneys and advocates about veterans’ law to expand accessible, VA-compliant resources that increase protections and benefits for veterans and service members.

Lifetime Impact Starts Here

When you donate to VBSi, you’re not just helping a veteran — you’re changing the trajectory of their entire life.

Case in Point.

A veteran came to us with a 10% VA rating — that’s $175 a month.  After we connected the Veteran with the right advocate through our network, we got the Veteran’s Rating to 90% or $2,490 a month with a spouse or $29,880/year not including Cost of Living (COLA) increases!  That’s nearly $600,000 in benefits over 20 years

That’s the Power of Your Gift.

VBSi breaks down the barriers by connecting and facilitating connections with Veterans with trusted, VA Benefit Advocates.

Help us do more for veterans across the nation and around the world.
